We are currently looking for an Accountant/Accounts technicianto join the finance team.
As a growing company, we are looking to expand our finance team.
This role is on a full-time basis.
Your new role: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Ownership of a portfolio of entities within the group.
Manage a junior member of staff Liaise with internal & external auditors Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Performing balance sheet reconciliations and other control procedures Review & prepare VAT returns Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Skills Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
Need to have exams or part of exams done.
Either accounts technican, ACCA or ACA Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable.
