Structural Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary consultancy, you will be responsible for working on large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of postgraduate experience in structural engineering within an engineering consultancy in Ireland or the UK. They should have a strong background in concrete and steel framed buildings, excellent report writing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work on large-scale projects across various sectors, including data centres, water treatment plants, schools, leisure facilities, residential, and commercial developments.
\
2. Collaborate with customers, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal resources to ensure project delivery meets customer requirements.
\
3. Undertake duties as Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.
\
4. Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
\
5. Project scheduling and resource planning aligned to meet customer needs.
\
6. Financial management of design budgets.
\
7. Ensure effective communication and prioritization of workload.
\
8. Manage and deliver high-quality projects within budget and time constraints.
\
9. Demonstrate expertise in Revit and other relevant software tools.
\
10. Maintain excellent relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
\
11. Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
\
12. Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures related to structural engineering practices.
\
13. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
\
14. Support business growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve them.
