Accounts Professional Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts professional to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Accurate and timely completion of bookkeeping tasks
* Processing purchase/sales invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable
* Performing regular reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
* Managing payroll processes, including calculations, reporting and compliance with current legislation
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns in a timely manner
* Providing basic personal and corporate tax advice
* Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts/Year End accounts
Essential Criteria for Success:
* Previous experience in a small to medium sized practice environment is highly desirable
* A working knowledge of computerised accounting software (Xero/Sage/Quick Books) is essential
* Familiarity with practical payroll matters and current legislation is crucial
* Strong Excel skills are required
* Motivated and flexible individuals who can work effectively as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A keen eye for detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy
