Location / Salary Full‑time position located in Dublin, Ireland; nominal business travel.
Responsibilities Ensure all electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety equipment operates at peak efficiency.
Maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules and daily corrective work.
Respond to alarms, critical situations and emergencies in a proper and timely manner.
Work a 2‑shift pattern including night shifts.
Requirements Manage all SLA's towards customers 100% uptime (temperature, humidity, power, PUE/WUE, relation).
Ensure safe, effective and efficient delivery of planned maintenance and meet all standards and procedures.
Inform Manager of Operations of all planned and corrective work.
Plan work on equipment according to the Planned Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
Prepare detailed Method of Procedure for all work and ensure contractor work is logged and approved.
Organize all testing of mission critical equipment on site.
During normal working hours, respond to alarms, critical situations and emergencies in a calm and clear manner and in accordance with the emergency response plan.
Take initiative to raise quality and efficiency standards for all equipment in the data center.
Find ways to increase energy efficiency without sacrificing continuity or uptime of the site.
Administer all executed work in a correct and timely manner according to all processes and procedures.
Work effectively and efficiently with others inside the organization.
Monitor the site to ensure safety standards are met.
Qualifications Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a datacenter environment including transformers, generators, switchgear and UPS systems.
Strong communications, both written and verbal, and ability to lead teams and coordinate with peers.
Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet committed timelines.
Strong and effective team player and can cover all gamut of tasks required to get a job done.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience/Education At least 3 years of experience or HBO (Bachelor of Science/Engineering).
LV/HV authorized to switch Certificate.
Mechanical and/or Electrical training/education with particular focus in power.
Must complete Safety for Operational Supervisors training and OSHA 30 shortly after start of employment.
Relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment.
High school diploma or College Degree.
Good observation skills and problem‑solving ability.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
