We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team. As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the repair of devices returned to our workshop by customers.

About the Role

* Provide technical support to customers, field service engineers, and sales teams.

* Attend internal and manufacturer's training courses, which may require travel outside of the country annually.
">
* Liaise and communicate with suppliers to help resolve problems or report incidents/issues requiring manufacturer input.
">
* Manage stock and perform administrative tasks.
">
* Be part of the workshop team, responsible for completing tasks allocated, following processes and procedures recommended by the original manufacturer.
">

Requirements
">
The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in biomedical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, or applied science.

Key Skills and Qualifications
">
* Aptitude for electronic circuits and soldering techniques.
">
* Proficient computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
">
* Ability to work on own initiative and effectively in teams.
">
* Previous experience in a customer support role is advantageous.
">
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
">
* Ability to understand and follow manuals, work instructions, and related information.
">
* Knowledge of basic computer technology, PC repair, and networking is advantageous but not essential.
