Are you an experienced finance professional seeking a new challenge? We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join a successful finance team within a leading international engineering company.
Our client, headquartered in West Dublin, partners with some of the world’s largest multinational companies, with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions
Your Role
* Lead the accounts payable function, ensuring timely processing of invoices, supplier payments, and month-end close activities.
* Manage and develop the accounts payable team (team of 3), driving performance and compliance with internal controls.
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and internal departments.
* Implement and improve internal controls and compliance frameworks.
* Produce management reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
* Liaise with auditors and ensure timely delivery of required information.
* Identify and resolve potential issues with accounts and cash flow management.
* Assist with system updates and software development as needed.
Your Skills
* Proven experience in managing high-volume accounts payable functions.
* Strong strategic skills with a focus on continual improvement.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) is preferable.
