Applications are invited for the following positions: Emergency Department/Rapid Cardiac Care Administrator A locum/casual vacancy (3 days per week) has arisen within the Emergency Department (ED) for the position of Emergency Room/Rapid Cardiac Care Administrator. This is a temporary role with part time locum options available. The Role: Meet and greet patients including dealing with enquiries in person and over the telephone. Registration of patients presenting to ED & preparation of charts. Liaise with Bed Manager re allocation of beds as required Organise patient bookings with consultants and/or their secretaries Transcribe/File/Organise patient files for clinics. Assist with referrals and insurance verifications. Co-ordinate Billing, Processing, Monitoring of patient charges and Issue of receipts. Interface with referring physicians / other referring agents. Monitor and maintain department stock/consumables and supplies. Deal with ad-hoc patient requests. Daily transactions of handling money.
