The Opportunity:
As an experienced OSS Project Manager you will lead our residential retrofit projects across Ireland. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of solar PV, heat pump, doors, windows and insulation installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Your role will be critical in coordinating between clients, suppliers, installation teams, and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities includes:
* Manage all phases of retrofit energy efficiency upgrade projects from initial site assessment and planning through to installation and commissioning.
* Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
* Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
* Liaise with clients to manage expectations, provide regular updates, and ensure satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
* Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
* Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to optimize upgrade solutions.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, government regulations, and incentives.
Qualifications:
* Degree or certification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related field.
* Experience with NZEB, Passive House, or similar energy-efficient building standards.
* Proven ability to manage retrofit and construction projects, including logistics and materials.
* Experience working with SEAI or similar public sector organisations is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of retrofit technologies, building materials, and Irish building regulations.
* Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements for project delivery.
* Proficient in project management software and digital documentation tools.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Effective team leadership and staff coordination experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Full driver’s license and flexibility to travel nationwide as required.
