The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced electrical engineer who will be based at our new office overlooking St Stephen's Green in central Dublin. You will join our team to lead on the design of some of the most exciting electrical design projects in Ireland, the UK and internationally for mixture of Hyper Scale, Colo and Enterprise Data Centres.
You will be a leading figure in our established Irish critical systems team of expert engineers and technicians and, working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare and oversee detailed engineering designs using Amtech and Dialux. You will assist in the day to day management and resourcing of a team of Senior and Project Engineers. You will also work closely with our Critical Systems lead and will take responsibility for the management of projects to achieve financial and time deadlines – attending and leading project and design meetings to ensure successful planning, allocation and coordination of work.

The Skills
Educated to a degree level 8 in Electrical Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent), and having gained relevant experience within a consultancy environment (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting, security systems etc), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and Dialux.
You have proven ability in producing low energy design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, possess sound knowledge of Revit and crucially – have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
