We are looking for a Grooming artist to join our team who shares our vision and will bring with them a passion for creating high quality content.
Applicants for the Grooming Artist role should have several years of experience in a similar position, with a proven track record working on broadcast or film projects.
This is a Fixed-Term, 8-Month contract based in Dublin.
Please note that our studio operates on a hybrid model, with two days per week required in the studio.
Successful candidate must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities

• Assembling turntable tests for characters and props, in preparation for Director and Client reviews.
• Collaborating with the Art Director/CG Supervisor to set the required look for show.
• Documenting work as step-by-step tutorials where needed.
• Raising any issues with the pipeline or tools and report problems with assigned tasks.
• Logging time into time logging software daily.

• Artist should be familiar with shading/grooming and lighting assets.
• Awareness of possible downstream problems stemming from utilization of specific techniques should also be present.
• Understanding of different Hair & Fur systems as well as some experience of using them to complete variety of assets.
• Previous experience with grooming or building blocks of the same.
•Working knowledge of Maya/Vray and Hair & Fur systems. Unreal engine expirience a plus.
