REPORTING TO: Group Marketing Manager
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To lead the creation and execution of engaging, innovative social media content that supports the goals of The Connacht Hospitality Group, enhances brand visibility, and connects meaningfully with audiences across all platforms.
KEY DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Creating and delivering engaging video, photo, and written content for social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging channels.
·Managing and coordinating content calendars for multiple brands across the group.
·Attending and capturing content from events, activations, and brand experiences in real time.
·Confidently representing the brand both behind and in front of the camera when required.
·Editing content using CapCut Pro, Canva, and other creative tools.
·Designing supporting materials such as ad creatives, flyers, infographics, storyboard and presentations.
·Monitoring trends, platform updates, and cultural movements to ensure relevance and freshness in content strategy.
·Tracking, reporting, and optimizing digital and social KPIs
·Completing monthly performance reports and identifying actionable insights for future campaigns.
·Collaborating with the wider marketing, PR, and design team to deliver integrated brand strategies.
·Mentoring and overseeing social champion and intern programmes.
·Supporting influencer campaigns with content briefing, UGC coordination, and creative execution.
·Upholding brand consistency, tone of voice, and visual identity across all platforms.
·Engaging with customers and followers on social media when required.

·Flexibility to capture content when required during evenings and some weekends where needed.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
·Minimum 3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital communications
·Formal qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
·Proficiency with tools such as CapCut Pro, Canva, Brandwatch, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite
·Experience in managing content shoots, event coverage, and live social activation
·Experience with influencer management, UGC briefing, and campaign integration
·Experience working across multiple brands or venues
·Strong understanding of Galway's culture and lifestyle is a plus
