We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team in Cork.ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled servicing and routine checks (oil services, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.)Identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and traditional troubleshooting methodsRepair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension assembliesFit and maintain essential vehicle parts including batteries, belts, hoses, and filtersConduct post-repair testing to confirm roadworthiness and performanceKeep accurate documentation of repairs, services, and parts usageClearly explain repair needs, completed work, and preventive care to customersSkills & QualificationsStrong technical and mechanical knowledge with a logical approach to problem-solvingHands-on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipmentSolid understanding of key vehicle systems (powertrain, drivetrain, electrical, and chassis systems)High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality standardsGood communication skills with a customer-focused attitudePrevious experience working on BMW vehicles is highly desirableProven experience with engine rebuilds will be an added advantageBackground in an automotive workshop, dealership, or similar environment preferredJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €29,127.84-€57,737.32 per yearWork Location: In person
