About the Role
Beat is the leading regional radio station for young adults in the South East. As a Daytime Presenter, you'll be the voice that keeps our audience company through their workday—bringing energy, entertainment, and connection to listeners across Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for one year duration.
What You'll Do:
* Host a live daytime show with a mix of music, chat, listener interaction, and regional content.
* Deliver engaging links that reflect the lifestyle and interests of Beat's 15–34-year-old audience.
* Prep and research topics and discussion points that are relevant to the audience.
* React to breaking news, entertainment stories, and trending topics in real-time.
* Collaborate with producers and the digital team to create multi-platform content.
* Represent Beat at events, promotions, and client activations.
* Maintain a strong social media presence that complements your on-air personality.
* Ensure all content complies with BAI guidelines and station policies.
