The Responsibilities: You will be developing an enterprise grade Software as a Service (SaaS) application which allows educational institutions to manage every aspect of their commercial operations on campus. Working as part of a collaborative Scrum team, you will contribute to the development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software, while gaining exposure to our Azure-hosted SaaS environment and modern CI/CD practices. Specifically, you are responsible for: Design, develop, and maintain reliable, high-quality software components. Collaborate closely with your Scrum team, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver features from concept to release. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues through careful investigation and testing. Contribute to technical discussions and share ideas that improve the team's approach and code quality. Participate actively in code reviews and follow established coding and version control practices. Assist in maintaining application quality during QA, and post-release phases. Learn and apply appropriate data storage and retrieval techniques to meet application needs. Support ongoing improvements to our automation and CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting refinements to our development processes and tools. The Essentials: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in professional software development using .Net with C#, Javascript, and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server Experience with cloud hosting platforms such Microsoft Azure, Amazon, GCP etc Experience using source-control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or TFS Experience in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Experienced in the design and implementation of high volume REST API's Understanding of and experience with designing and implementing Microservices Architecture Skilled in architecting and implementing scalable & fault tolerant enterprise grade applications Ability to refactor and modernize legacy code bases to leverage the latest.NET tech stack Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming principles and patterns Experience with unit testing and test-driven development. Solid understanding and experience with continuous integration and delivery practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with good attention to detail. Ability to understand technical requirements and break them down into actionable tasks with guidance as needed. Clear and confident communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
