This role is part of Mitsubishi HC Capital Europe, providing vendor finance solutions to support Mitsubishi group businesses, their distribution channels, and key accounts across Europe. We build strong relationships with vendor partners and develop bespoke asset finance programs and funding solutions for customers. We operate in multiple European markets with expansion underway, and promote an entrepreneurial culture and collaborative teamwork.

What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Sales – Europe, you will lead the team to proactively retain and develop existing customer and vendor relationships. As the National Sales Manager within the Ireland region, you will have the flexibility to travel to support existing customers and develop new customer and vendor opportunities.
Key duties
* Identifying and developing new opportunities (sectors, suppliers and manufacturers) and managing assigned customer and vendor relationships.
* Developing a thorough knowledge of the local market and opportunities (assets financed and vendors) including potential product offerings and legal requirements.
* Undertaking credit due diligence to prepare credit proposals and new vendor applications.
* Making recommendations with risks and mitigants to the Credit and Leadership Team.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a tenacious sales professional who is energetic and enthusiastic to grow our portfolio. The successful candidate will put the customer first, build solid relationships, and have experience working with multiple stakeholders in an international environment. You will have strong drive and ambition and work well both in a team and on your own initiative.
Also, we are looking for the following
* Knowledge of asset finance / commercial lending
* Good knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and collections activities
* Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal and writing abilities
* Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues
* Problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
