Role Overview
The Head Chef will have full responsibility for the culinary direction, daily kitchen operations, and team leadership at Pink Restaurant. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organisational skills, a passion for food, and the ability to maintain consistently high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes consistently
Develop and execute menus that reflect the Pink Restaurant brand and seasonal availability
Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet agreed quality and portion standards
Manage kitchen operations, including rotas, staffing levels, and training
Oversee stock control, ordering, supplier relationships, and cost management
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
Control food costs, minimise waste, and work within agreed budgets
Collaborate with management on menu pricing, promotions, and special events
Ensure smooth kitchen service during busy periods
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food trends
Solid understanding of food costing, margins, and kitchen financial controls
Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations
Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
Creative, organised, and detail-oriented
