We are hiring a Dental Nurse Manager with responsibility for Purchasing, Facilities and Nursing Standards based in our Carlow Head Office.
This exciting role is a senior position for an experienced and ambitious dental nurse or person with extensive dental experience at management level. The role combines managing clinical nursing standards and performance amongst our dental nurses with overseeing procurement and inventory control. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient satisfaction, managing the clinical performance of dental nursing staff in conjunction with our HR team, handling budgets, and maintaining supplies, equipment, and regulatory compliance in all our locations.
This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and extensive experience in healthcare or dental practice management. Some travel between our clinical facilities is required- a full clean driving licence is a pre-requisite. It is a hands-on, full throttle position where no two days are the same and clear thinking with problem solving capabilities are a must.
Key responsibilities
* Clinical and administrative leadership:
· Oversee and support the dental team, including other nurses, hygienists, and dentists.
· Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
· Manage professional development and performance of the nursing staff.
* Purchasing and inventory management:
· Manage the procurement, inventory, and maintenance of all dental supplies and equipment.
· Monitor stock levels and implement efficient inventory management systems.
· Collaborate with suppliers and vendors.
* Financial and operational management:
· Manage the practice's budget, including financial planning and analysis.
· administrative duties associated with procurement and facility management.
· Implement company policies and procedures.
* Compliance and quality assurance:
· Ensure the practice adheres to all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing standards and quality management programs.
