Job Title: Finance Operations Manager
A finance operations manager is responsible for leading the financial operations of a company. This role involves driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide financial leadership and support to the site leadership team, including financial analysis to support business development.
2. Ensure internal controls are in place and functioning.
3. Provide strategic financial leadership across the business, partnering with executive management to drive decision-making and performance.
4. Support operations finance team in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support both short-term and long-term business goals.
5. Manage the financial requirements in support of business plans, financial modeling, and capital expenditure.
6. Oversee continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output.
7. Continued improvement of the financial forecasting processes.
8. Work closely with IT teams to support on-going enhancements.
9. Work closely with operations and drive cost savings and cost reduction initiatives.
10. Work closely with planning and supply chain to maintain optimal inventory levels.
11. Nurture and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, in particular with corporate partners across all functions, key service providers, and state agencies.
12. Support in preparing KPIs as per calendar.
13. Support and drive statutory audit and liaison with audit teams.
14. Perform month close activities like book closing including accruals, sales accounting, inventory valuation & preparing monthly reports to reflect site performance.
15. Supporting central team in validating vendor/customer agreements.
16. Specialist project/assignments covering a diverse range of business issues.
Requirements:
1. 7+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
2. Deep expertise in financial operations processes, systems, and controls.
3. Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, automation, and systems upgrades (SAP).
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance frameworks.
5. Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.
6. Exceptional leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
7. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA, MBA, or similar advanced credential.
8. Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Hyperion tools is a must.
