Our client is now seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join their team to assist with growing the business further over the coming years in line with their pipeline and projected sales targets. The Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with and educating commercial clients on the various Solar PV, SEAI Commercial and TAMS grants available. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivator, confident and personable with demonstrable sales expertise. The role will be located at our clients offices in North Co. Cork where it will be a mixture of both office and field based. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Commercial and Agricultural sector for Solar PV solutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, building owners, project developers, and other stakeholders. Working with our Solar team you will provide tailored solar energy solutions that meet customer energy, financial, and sustainability goals. Sales Process Execution: Conduct site assessments and technical evaluations in collaboration with engineering teams. Present proposals to prospects. Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets. Requirements: Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in the solar PV, renewable energy, or commercial energy solutions industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business solutions for clients. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Self-starter with a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently.
