Are you passionate about sales and providing exceptional customer service? We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team full-time in Dundalk, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment where your contributions will make a real difference.
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring each customer receives a warm welcome and personalised assistance
* Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are attractively displayed
* Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organising new stock in both the warehouse and the sales area
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the till
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of store presentation
* Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required in a fast-paced retail environment
* Potentially take ownership of a specific area within the store, demonstrating initiative and leadership
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Strong sales ability and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
* Proactive approach to work with the ability to take initiative
* Team player with great interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
* Physical fitness to handle stock and stand for extended periods
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
* Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential – we value enthusiasm and the right attitude
