Agricultural Design Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Agricultural Design Engineer to join our client's engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing agricultural machinery, systems, and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who combines mechanical design expertise with an understanding of agricultural processes to deliver efficient, durable, and forward-thinking solutions to support the evolving needs of the farming industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop agricultural machinery and equipment using CAD software and engineering tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and field service to ensure designs are fit for purpose
Conduct field testing and performance analysis to validate designs under real-world conditions
Incorporate feedback from farmers and end-users to continuously improve functionality and reliability
Ensure designs comply with relevant safety, environmental, and industry regulations
Stay up-to-date with emerging agricultural technologies and practices
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design specifications
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within the agricultural or machinery sector
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Strong understanding of agricultural operations and challenges
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication and technical reporting skills
Desirable:
Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, or automation systems in agricultural machinery
Previous experience in prototyping or testing equipment in field conditions
