Your Job
The role of Sales Person is to maximise sales and profit by meeting the needs of the customer. A successful salesperson has excellent product knowledge, provides outstanding customer service, creates a great shopping experience, and is dedicated to the craft of selling. This role is crucial for making Harvey Norman a great place to shop.

Your Qualifications & Experience
* Leaving Cert or equivalent is required. 1–3 years’ experience dealing face to face with the public in a customer service, hospitality, tourism, or retail role.
* Energetic, self-motivated and persistent – You possess a high level of energy and can work toward goals with minimal supervision.
* Strong sales experience – Ideally with a background in sales or customer-facing roles and a drive to excel, meet goals, and achieve targets.
* Industry and product knowledge in categories sold by Harvey Norman (furniture, interiors, cooking, technology, appliances) is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information
* This is a full-time, seasonal fixed-term contract with potential for permanency.
* Flexibility to cover store opening hours, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
