Role Overview
MSL Engineering Ltd is seeking a
Graduate Health, Safety & Environmental Officer
to join our growing team in Ringaskiddy, Co.
Cork.
This role is ideal for a motivated graduate who is keen to build a long-term career in
Health & Safety and Environmental management
within a fast-paced engineering and construction environment.
The successful candidate will be fully supported and trained by MSL Engineering, including structured development toward key management systems and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of MSL's Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management systems
Support site teams in ensuring compliance with
Health & Safety legislation
, safe systems of work, and company procedures
Assist with risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), inspections, audits, and incident investigations
Promote a positive safety culture across projects and offices
Support environmental management initiatives and compliance requirements
Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and external stakeholders as required
Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records
Training & Development
ISO ***** – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
ISO ***** – Environmental Management Systems
Practical site-based experience across live mechanical engineering projects
Qualifications
Degree in
Environmental Science
Diploma / Degree in
Safety, Health & Welfare at Work
, or other recognised equivalent
Strong interest in building a career in
Health, Safety and Environmental management
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Ability to work well as part of a team
Desirable
Placement or internship experience in HSE or construction/engineering (not essential)
Basic knowledge of Irish H&S and environmental legislation
