We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our Service & Maintenance operations in Leinster. This is a key leadership role within a fastgrowing organisation, offering the opportunity to shape service delivery, support a skilled team and drive continuous improvement.Role OverviewThe Service Manager will oversee the daytoday operations of the Leinster, Service & Maintenance Department, ensuring highquality service delivery, strong customer relationships, and efficient management of people, processes, and resources. You will be responsible for team leadership, scheduling, performance management, commercial oversight, and ensuring compliance with company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & GrowthDevelop and implement a clear growth strategy for the Service & Maintenance DepartmentIdentify new service opportunities, market trends, and areas for expansionDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfactionCollaborate with senior management to align departmental goals with wider business objectivesOperational LeadershipLead, support, and develop a team of supervisors, service engineers and administrative staffOversee scheduling, resource planning, and workload allocationEnsure service jobs, repairs, and callouts are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standardMonitor KPIs, service performance, and departmental targetsCustomer & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for key customersManage escalations, service issues, and customer expectationsBuild strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsCommercial & Financial OversightEnsure accurate job costing, invoicing, and financial trackingReview engineer reports, quotations, and service documentationSupport budget planning, forecasting, and cost controlIdentify opportunities for service growth and efficiency improvementsCompliance & QualityEnsure adherence to health & safety, environmental, and quality standardsMaintain accurate records, documentation, and reportingDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the departmentEssential Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a service management or operations leadership roleExperience in developing, implementing, or contributing to departmental growth strategiesStrong commercial acumen, including the ability to prepare quotations for new business, assess job costs, and support revenue growthStrong peoplemanagement and teamdevelopment skillsExcellent communication and customerservice abilitiesStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple demandsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeDesirableExperience in the water, wastewater, or environmental services sectorFamiliarity with Municipal, Industrial, and Commercial markets in IrelandTechnical qualifications or background in engineering, utilities, mechanical / electrical services, or a related technical fieldExperience working with key customers, such as Uisce Eireann, is an advantageKnowledge of service / ERP systemsCompensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career growthCPD accredited employerA collaborative and supportive work environmentLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone providedFlexible working options, dependent on location and role requirementsSee company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS GroupWe welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
