Job Summary The Junior Quantity Surveyor will assist in managing project costs and budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and value for money. Working under the supervision of senior quantity surveyors, the role involves cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and monitoring expenditure throughout the project lifecycle. The position supports the delivery of construction projects on time and within budget, while adhering to company procedures and industry standards. Key Activities Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions. Support the management and monitoring of project costs to ensure budgetary compliance. Contribute to the procurement process, including the preparation and review of contracts, tender documentation, and subcontractor agreements. Assist in measuring, valuing, and certifying works completed on-site. Prepare and maintain accurate records, including cost reports, valuations, and payment applications. Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, variations, and claims. Support the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation. Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives/ Competencies Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
