Department: Health & SafetyReports to: Operations DirectorLocation: Multi Site (with Travel to Client Premises)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage health, safety and environmental compliance across our multi-site operations. This is a hands-on management role, supporting both day-to-day compliance and long-term safety culture development within Samsic Facility.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement health & safety policies and ensure legal compliance.Manage risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.Oversee safety documentation (RAMS, SSOW, SDS) and ergonomic assessments.Monitor training compliance and deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.Lead fleet safety and driving compliance across the company's vehicle fleet.Support the company's environmental and sustainability goals.Ensure readiness for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits and maintain certifications.Manage a small team and work closely with managers and clients to drive a positive safety culture.Requirements:5+ years' experience in a health & safety leadership role, ideally across multiple sitesStrong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and ISO standardsProven experience in incident management, risk control and complianceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to travel to various company and client locationsPreferred Skills:Experience in sectors such as facilities management, data centres, cleanrooms or regulated environmentsNEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualificationExperience with ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives and reportingFamiliarity with HIQA, GMP or other regulated standardsManual Handling and Safe Pass instructor certification (or oversight experience)Why Join Us?Company CarPensionGenerous Leave: 23 days annual leave plus Good FridayBalance Boost Days: Four company-designated 3:00pm finishes per year to support work-life balance and employee wellbeingBank Holiday Friday: 3:00pm early finishes on Fridays before long weekendsWellbeing Culture: Supportive, team-focused environment with wellness and engagement initiativesDevelopment Opportunities: Access to training, system learning, and professional growth pathwaysInclusion MattersWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
