We are seeking to recruit Resident Engineer (Electrical) with 7+ years of relevant experience in site supervision activities for positions across various counties in Ireland (Nationwide). Candidates will be seconded into client offices/sites to work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Suitable candidates interested in similar positions nationwide can also apply and will be considered for future opportunities.
* Experience in administering Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
* Chartered Engineer.
* Managing Safely in Construction Training.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
* Willing to take responsibility and work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
* Specialise in Electrical elements of the projects.
* Drive project delivery on site for Uisce Éireann, focusing on health & safety, schedule, cost, and quality standards.
* Ensure work complies with contract documents and specifications.
* Monitor and report on site activities to the Employer’s Requirements.
* Keep all stakeholders informed of site issues.
* Implement safety policies and review HSQE documentation.
* Conduct weekly health and safety reviews and follow up on issues.
* Report and assist with investigations of any incidents.
* Participate in HSQE team inspections and close out issues.
