Senior Cloud Network Engineer We are working with a leading technology-driven organisation that is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned networking professional who has successfully transitioned into cloud environments and thrives in designing, automating, and managing scalable cloud network infrastructures. The Role As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you'll play a key part in building and optimising cloud-based network solutions. Around 80% of the role will be focused on Microsoft Azure, with additional exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS. You'll design and implement highly available, secure, and automated cloud network architectures, with Terraform as a core tool for Infrastructure as Code. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructures across Azure (primary), GCP, and AWS. Build scalable, secure, and automated network solutions using Terraform. Deliver hybrid and cloud connectivity solutions (e.g., VPNs, ExpressRoute, Cloud Interconnect). Implement and maintain best-in-class network security practices. Troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to ensure network solutions meet business and technical requirements. What We're Looking For Strong background in traditional networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, BGP, VPNs, firewalls). Proven experience transitioning from on-prem/hybrid networking into cloud environments. Deep hands-on experience with Azure networking services (VNets, Firewalls, Load Balancers, ExpressRoute, DNS). Exposure to GCP and/or AWS networking services (VPCs, VPN, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Interconnect). 5+ years' hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Desirable Cloud certifications in Azure, GCP, or AWS. Experience with container networking (Docker, Kubernetes).
