Job Title: Strategic Financial Lead
The role of the Strategic Financial Lead is to oversee and manage the financial operations of a group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective control.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably with experience in a similar role within a multi-entity or complex organisational structure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Drive improvements in ERP usage, focusing on automation and efficiency.
* Oversee the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors and advisors.
* Manage cash flow, debt financing, and covenant reporting with a proactive and detail-driven approach.
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.
* Strong audit background and experience managing external audit processes.
* Experience in a private equity environment or leveraged business is an advantage.
* Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
