Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned health and safety professional to lead our distribution centre's health and safety efforts.
About the Role:
* Oversee the implementation of health and safety strategies across two sites, managing a small team of specialists.
* Ensure compliance with various legislation, including health and safety, fire safety, food safety, and trading regulations.
* Prioritise strategic direction for the execution of company-wide health and safety standards in all operational areas.
* Lead health and safety working groups and projects to promote best practices and consistency within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Report directly to the Senior Health & Safety Manager.
2. Manage a team of health and safety specialists operating across two regions.
3. Carry out thorough investigations into serious accidents and incidents, ensuring timely reporting to relevant authorities.
4. Coordinate ongoing reviews of national documentation to ensure alignment with Irish regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent degree-level qualification in H&S or Environmental Health.
* Proven experience in managing and coaching health and safety professionals.
* Strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation.
* Full and valid driving licence required.
