Introduction to the job The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, upgrade repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer.
Local site Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customer within the specific region.
The EU EUV UIR team specifically executes system Upgrades, Installations and Relocations and provides technical support for other CS activities when needed.
Conducts mostly well-defined tasks, with a higher degree of independency and under limited supervision.
The EUV In-fab coordinator (IFC) ensures the smooth fab operation by interacting and aligning with all parties trades, UIR team (PL, coordinators, engineers, customer) during UIR activities.
They ensure the key interaction moments between customer, trades and ASML are well defined, aligned and agreed upon with the customer and embedded to the overall install operation.
Role and responsibilities The IFC is expected to lead the communication between customer and fab floor engineers during the daily activities around the system area.
They will also have an important role in identifying and embedding (CI) learnings and processes that can optimize future UIR projects.
Best known methods (BKMs) that can be shared across the regions and central.
Perform UIR coordination activities including full preparation and daily project operations.
Have an understanding of all ongoing actions, issues and prepare reports and escalations logging within the shift.
During execution, maintain the daily plan, streamline escalations, ensure pre-conditions for smooth escalations and streamline communication from the fab to the PL.
Perform pre-install coordination activities to make sure everything is in place before a machine arrives, facilitating any requirements needed before a system is installed at a customer site (alignments, cabling, material readiness etc.).
The IFC: Supervises fab operations and interactions between all fab parties.
Lead in-fab escalations from engineering team.
Holds daily meetings (with customer) and identifies key actions to ensure smooth operations.
Ensures fab (environment, engineers, customer and trades) and office alignment on release dates, safety escalations and vendor-customer interactions Optimizes daily plan by ensuring safe way of working Holds a strong background in Mechanical Install or UIR Hardware specific actions (water, gas turn on, plating, rigging requests etc.) needed.
Is able to review technical documents (P
