The successful candidate must have experience in working as a Commis Chef minimum 1 year.
Day to day duties will include:
* Working with Head Chef and kitchen staff, delivering high level of food service
* Prepare all ingredients for service for allocated section to the required standard, ensuring minimum wastage
* Cooking & preparing food to the required specifications
* Ensure the smooth running of food service with Head chef and other restaurant personnel
* Ensure all special requests made by guests are met
* Work in an organised, hygienic manner always ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to
* Receive goods from suppliers, when required, and to ensure products conform with HACCP specifications
* Ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications
* Ensure correct rotation of stock as per HACCP requirements
* Adhere to cleaning schedules set out for the Kitchen
The Ideal Candidate will be:
* HACCP trained
* Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
* Previous experience in a busy hotel or restaurant
* Able to work in a pressurized environment
* Have excellent customer service skills
* Speak fluent English

Pay: €14.00-€16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
