We’re a healthtech startup with big ideas and bold ambition, andnow we’re looking for a talented Hardware Engineer to help bring our smart dispensingsystem to life.Role OverviewAs the Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping, testing, andmanufacturing of our intelligent supplement-dispensing system. You’ll manage the technicaldevelopment of both in-house components and those sourced from external partners. Thisrole is central to ensuring we deliver a reliable, high-quality consumer device that seamlesslyintegrates with our software and user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end hardware development lifecycle for the dispensing system – from concept and CAD design through to production.Design and engineer fluid dispensing mechanisms, including pumps, valves, and flow control systems.Select and qualify components (electromechanical, fluidic, structural) for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Coordinate with industrial designers, electronics engineers, and software teams to ensure seamless integration across systems.Manage relationships with external suppliers, contract manufacturers, and prototyping partners.Build and test prototypes for functional performance, user experience, and compliance.Establish manufacturing processes, quality standards, and assembly procedures.Documenting your work in a way that even your future self will thank you for.Requirements & QualificationsPractical experience in hardware product development, ideally in consumer electronics or fluidics-based systems (e.g., beverage machines, medical devices, or lab instrumentation).Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).Experience in rapid prototyping, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and material selection.Understanding of fluid dynamics, pumping systems, and microfluidic or dosing systems.Familiarity with PCB integration, embedded systems, and electromechanical design.Track record of managing external suppliers and manufacturing partners.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a bias for action.Nice to HaveExperience working on beverage dispensing systems, water purification systems, or nutraceutical delivery devices.Experience with FDA- or CE-regulated hardware environments.Knowledge of IoT-enabled devices or BLE integration.Familiarity with UX/UI collaboration in physical products.What’s in It for You?A key role in shaping the future of personalised nutrition and wellness.Competitive salary and share options package.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware and make a real impact.Supportive, high-growth startup culture with strong values and purpose.Access to a network of world-class engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs.Ready to Join the Fun?Send your CV, portfolio (if you have one), or just a quick note about what excites you to:We love curious minds, problem-solvers, ambition, and people who build things for fun.
