We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Princeton Management. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our apartment communities located in Waterford, MI.

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents in a professional manner
* Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example
* Work independently and as a member of a team to complete tasks and projects
* Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
* Identify and report issues involving employees, property or residents to management
* Complete service requests in occupied apartments in a timely manner
* Maintain common areas and community spaces
* Prepare vacant apartments for leasing
* Remove trash and debris from vacant units and assist with evictions
* Repair or replace window glass and screens
* Paint and touch up paint as needed
* Carpentry tasks including drywall repair, door replacement, trim work, etc.
* Basic electrical work including light fixture installation, circuit troubleshooting, etc.
* Appliance repair including stove burner replacement, refrigerator thermostat repair, etc.
* Plumbing work including faucet repair, toilet replacement, leak detection, etc.
* HVAC repairs including component replacement and EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification
* Maintain exterior and common area lighting
* Remove ice and snow from walkways and porches
* Perform general grounds duties including trash removal, gardening, etc.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance
* Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors
* Perform after-hours services for designated maintenance emergencies
* Work overtime when needed
* Lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders to various heights
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
