Ryanair is recruiting for a Pilot Rostering Analyst to join Europe’s largest airline group. This role will be based in our global Head Office in Airside Business Park, Swords, Dublin.
We are looking for people who are keen to learn and quick to adapt in a fast-changing environment. Owing to the precise and organised nature of Ryanair’s Flight Operations, it is important that candidates exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
This position is suitable for a candidate with a background in supply chain or logistics as it focuses on effectively utilising resources to maximise operational efficiency.
Duties Include
Efficiently plan and co-coordinate Ryanair pilot rosters for flight duties; ensuring flight coverage is maintained and crew remain qualified to conduct their duties
Maintain and deliver industry-leading roster patterns ensuring rosters are balanced
Daily use of Crew Management Systems, ensuring that pilots are planned in accordance with flight time limitations and company procedures
Distribution and planning of pilot annual leave whilst maintaining operational flight and stand-by coverage
Responsibility for roster management and production for a specific set of countries or bases within a specific country or AOC
Effective communication using all channels available to address any pilot, colleague and management queries and requests (Zendesk, Teams, Email, telephone, etc.)
Working as part of a team of analysts yet being able to work independently using one’s own initiative to complete tasks
Using BI tools to review and compile analysis of large volumes of data
Problem solving using cost-effective solutions
Assist with any other tasks that are reasonably required to carry out the daily operation of the Pilot Rostering Team
Requirements
Candidates must be highly organised with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines and be able to multitask
Candidates should be able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a highly pressurised environment
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Applicants must be open minded, excited about learning new skills, and have a strong work ethic
Ideal Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and either a qualification or background in operations, supply chain, logistics, or transport management
Successful candidates will have proven numeric, administrative, and computer skills (Excel)
Candidates ideally should have previous crewing/rostering or resource management experience but may not be necessary as full training will be provided
