Its portfolio, rooted in heritage and provenance, embodies Pernod Ricard’s commitment to excellence from Premium to Ultra‑Prestige, delivering some of the world’s most celebrated and enduring spirits and champagnes.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Buyer – Business Services to join our UK & Ireland (UKI) Indirect Procurement team.This role supports the delivery of procurement activity across a broad Business Services portfolio, contributing to category strategy execution, sourcing activity, supplier performance, and value delivery across the UKI region.Based in Dublin and reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement UKI, you will work closely with stakeholders across:Chivas BrothersIrish DistillersThis role is well suited to an experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer looking to broaden category exposure and develop toward category management within a complex, multi-business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and contribute to the management of a Business Services spend portfolio of approximately €100m across UK & IrelandSupport the development and implementation of category strategies aligned with global procurement direction and local business needsContribute to the UKI procurement transformation programme, supporting workstreams and embedding best practicesIdentify opportunities for value creation through spend analysis, market insights, and stakeholder engagementSupport the integration of Sustainability & Responsibility (S&R) and diversity commitments into sourcing and supplier requirementsOperational Procurement DeliverySupport procurement operations for Business Services across UKIContribute to value delivery through: Buy Better – professional sourcing and leverage of scaleSpend Better – demand optimisation and policy complianceTrack Better – governance, performance, sustainability, and risk trackingFor Localised CategoriesLead sourcing activities including RFx processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and complianceSupport global procurement teams with market reviews, supplier discovery, and contract implementationEnsure services meet agreed quality, cost, and performance requirementsSupport supplier performance management through KPIs, SLAs, reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport as a key interface between Business Services functions and ProcurementBuild strong working relationships with stakeholders across UKI businessesSupport demand management discussions to ensure services are aligned with business needs and value-for-moneyEngage suppliers through RFx processes and support commercial negotiations and contract implementationPerformance & ReportingSupport tracking and reporting of savings, spend, compliance, sustainability, and supplier performanceProvide structured input into reporting for procurement leadership on activities, risks, and value deliveryContribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and governanceWhat We’re Looking For3–6 years’ experience in procurement or buying rolesExperience supporting sourcing activity, supplier management, and contract processesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsCommercial awareness with good analytical capabilityComfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix organisationExposure to indirect or Business Services categories (e.g. FM, Professional Services, HR, Finance, T&E, Technology, Fleet)FMCG or multinational environment experienceCIPS Level 3 or 4 (or working towards) preferredWhat We OfferWe understand our people are our special ingredient and at different points, employees require different supports at different stages of their working lives.
