Financial Operations Coordinator
Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
The Financial Operations Coordinator will ensure timely payments to creditors and debtors, issue invoices and statements, and follow up on outstanding payments. Additionally, this role involves processing income and payments related to unrestricted and restricted funds, as well as specific projects such as conferences and events.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all creditor and debtor relationships
* Issuing invoices and statements to debtors
* Processing income and payments
* Maintaining accurate records
Requirements:
* 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
* Experience in taking ownership of day-to-day accounting activities
* Strong knowledge of journal postings, bank reconciliations, and general recording of invoices and payments
* Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
* Excellent communication, organisational, analytical, and time management skills
