Randox are a world leader in diagnostics for clinical healthcare, toxicology and food security, and we are looking for Manufacturing Technicians to join our Biochip Production team based in Dungloe, County Donegal.
What does our Biochip team do?
Our Biochip team manufactures products for use across our Biochip Array Technology Analysers including Evidence, Investigator, MultiStat, and Evolution. Our cutting-edge technology is used in laboratories and hospitals to diagnose health tests as well as veterinary samples and food testing.
Location: Randox Teoranta, Meenmore, Dungloe, County Donegal, F94 TV06.
Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent.
Working Hours/Contract: 40 hours per week: 7am-5:40pm over 4 days.
What does the Manufacturing Technicians role involve?
The role of Production Operator will involve working on the production of the Randox Biochip Array products.
Key duties include:
* Calibration and maintenance of equipment
* Operation and troubleshooting of automated production lines involved in the assembly of instrument-specific Biochip Array products
* Accurate completion of manufacturing and stock records
* Completion and recording of manufacturing outputs for KPIs
* Cleaning down of machines and work areas in accordance with standard operating procedures
* Monitoring of the cleanroom environment to meet defined specifications
* Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems
* Alerting the Biochip formulation Team Leader and Manager to any problems in the manufacture or testing of Biochip products and highlighting any non-conformances
* Accurate identification and removal of rejected biochips during assembly
* High-quality sealing and accurate labelling of Biochip Array products
Who can apply?
Essential criteria:
* Qualified to GCSE level or previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Computer literate with confidence in Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, including COSHH
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
