Embark on a fulfilling career as a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist where you will play a critical role in proactively identifying and attracting high-caliber candidates, particularly within R&D and Engineering functions. This senior-level position requires strategic thinking, advanced search techniques, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, recruiters, and HRBPs.


About the Role:

As a key member of our Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise, you will be responsible for developing tailored sourcing strategies and delivering high-quality pipelines that support our long-term hiring needs. Your expertise will help drive business growth by identifying top talent and ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.


Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing Partnership: Collaborate with recruiters, HRBPs, and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define tailored sourcing strategies.
2. Sourcing Subject Matter Expert: Advise on best practices for market engagement, channel mix, and messaging.
3. Proactive Talent Sourcing: Utilize advanced search techniques, such as Boolean logic, X-ray searching, data mining, and targeted outreach, to identify and engage passive talent.
4. Talent Pool Management: Build and maintain talent pools for critical and recurring roles to ensure a consistent supply of qualified candidates.
5. Market Intelligence: Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to provide insights into talent availability, compensation trends, and location strategies.
6. Insight Sharing: Share actionable market insights to help hiring teams make informed decisions.
7. Technology and Tools: Leverage sourcing platforms, CRM tools, and the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage talent pipelines and candidate data.
8. Emerging Technologies: Stay informed of emerging sourcing technologies and recommend tools to enhance sourcing effectiveness.
9. Candidate Experience: Serve as a brand ambassador and ensure a high-quality candidate experience from initial outreach through to handoff to recruiters.
10. Value Proposition Communication: Communicate Medtronic's value proposition clearly and consistently to candidates.
11. Performance Metrics: Track sourcing performance metrics (e.g., time-to-source, outreach response rates, pipeline conversion).
12. Data-Driven Insights: Use data insights to refine and improve sourcing strategies.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant talent sourcing experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
* Experience sourcing/recruiting Engineering / R&D roles within a highly regulated industry.
* Proven ability to work as part of a team.
* Previous mentorship experience (Hiring Managers, Recruiters).
* Desirable experience in employer branding.
* Experience with Workday recruiting software.
