TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Temporary Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer to join their fast-paced team in Mayo.
Location: Castlebar
Contract: Temporary 3 month initial contract
Hours: 9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Rate of Pay: €19.30 – €29.77 depending on verified relevant public sector experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with external training providers to schedule and manage training programmes.
* Coordinate with staff and line managers regarding attendance, feedback, and evaluation.
* Maintain training records and assist in the development of training calendars.
* Serve as a point of contact for staff and line managers regarding HR-related queries, particularly around training and development.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior hospital management as required.
* Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate HR data using Microsoft Excel and other HR systems.
* Produce reports, graphs, and presentations for internal meetings, audits, and management reviews.
* Track staff training compliance and generate status reports.
* Perform general administrative duties including document preparation, filing, minute-taking, and data entry.
* Support HR colleagues in recruitment, onboarding, and other HR functions as needed.
* Maintain confidentiality in dealing with employee information and sensitive documentation.
Essential Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
* Experience in preparing presentations and data reports for various stakeholders.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Professional telephone manner and customer service orientation.
* A team player with a flexible and proactive approach.
