Job Title: Procurement Specialist
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join our procurement team as a Graduate Trainee Buyer. The successful candidate will play a key role in the current and future growth and success of the business.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with colleagues across sales, technical and operations teams. They should also be passionate about building long-term careers within purchasing and supply chain management.
The Graduate Junior Buyer will work closely with the procurement team to ensure effective sourcing and supply of goods into the business. This includes establishing positive relationships with growers, suppliers and transport partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify business needs.
2. Determine optimal supplier strategies through analysis of market data.
3. Liaise regularly with suppliers to negotiate prices or terms.
4. Schedule meetings for review orders status.
