Job Description:
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the front desk and maintaining a welcoming reception area. You will answer calls and handle customer queries professionally, opening customer accounts and checking balances using internal systems. Additionally, you will provide confidential administrative support to the General Manager and maintain accurate records and manage documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the front desk: Ensuring that the reception area is clean, tidy and well-organized at all times.
* Answering calls and handling customer queries: Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone or email.
* Opening customer accounts and checking balances: Utilizing internal systems to open new customer accounts and check their balances.
* Providing administrative support: Assisting the General Manager with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
* Strong administrative skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail: Maintaining accurate records and managing documentation effectively.
* Customer service skills: Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer queries professionally.
* Initiative and adaptability: Being able to work independently and use initiative when needed.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday, 9am - 5pm) from July to March and 5 days per week (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm) from April to June. Some flexibility can be offered for the right candidate.
