Job Title: Shift Lead
About the Role:
* Lead and direct a team of colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations during opening and closing procedures.
* Collaborate with Colleague Managers to coordinate resource allocation and maximize efficiency in delivering sales floor readiness, Serve, Sell, and Fill objectives.
* Provide coaching and guidance to colleagues on operational processes, productivity, and customer service standards.
* Support the development of high-performing teams by sharing observations and recognizing outstanding colleagues.
* Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and presentation by coordinating daily operational processes and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
* Role-model M&S behaviours and colleague expectations across the store.
* Assist Colleague Managers with task delegation and oversee maintenance of key store areas, including temperature control, receipt of vehicles, and TSL compliance.
* Perform additional tasks as required, such as answering call-outs, handling cash, and logging operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate resource allocation for efficient operation during fill procedures.
* Deliver a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment through effective coordination of daily operational processes.
* Enable quick payment experiences by allocating resources effectively.
* Support Colleague Managers with task delegation and maintain overall store efficiency.
* Ensure timely completion of opening and closing procedures, including receipt of vehicles and temperature control.
* Play an active role in creating a positive and inclusive team atmosphere that promotes great customer service.
* Monitor and support nearby stores operationally when required.
* Responsible for being a key holder and answering call outs as needed.
