We are currently hiring a Staff Nurse – Anaesthetics (Cardiac Catheterisation Lab) for a prestigious hospital in Dublin, Ireland .
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on admission, document findings accurately, and continuously evaluate patient conditions to identify care needs.
Develop, implement, and update individualised care plans based on best practice and patient needs, ensuring timely reviews and accurate documentation.
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and NMBI standards.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, person-centred care and smooth discharge planning.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff, ensuring dignity, confidentiality, and infection prevention compliance.
Demonstrate flexibility and accountability, adapting to changing workloads and functioning effectively in emergency situations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring accurate reporting and respectful interactions at all times.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits, data collection, and evaluation of care to support continuous improvement.
Engage in ongoing professional development, taking responsibility for maintaining clinical competence and contributing to staff training and mentorship.
Uphold hospital values and standards, complying with all policies, supporting the mission statement, and ensuring proper record management in line with legislation.
