Job Title: Site Operations Manager
Your New Role
Oversight of onsite operations and productivity is a key aspect of this position, involving the management of company operatives, subcontractors, and all personnel on-site for the project. This includes ensuring compliance with safety standards, installation quality, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversight of subcontractors and direct labour onsite to ensure adherence to established protocols.
2. Support Project Engineers in the preparation and delivery of Quality Assurance documentation in line with project milestones.
3. Site Office and Stores management, including QDSM signage and housekeeping standards throughout the duration of the project.
4. Collaboration with Contracts Manager in developing and executing the project programme.
5. Addressing payroll-related queries regarding timesheets for site personnel.
6. Coordination of mechanical services and builders' works drawings.
7. Ordering materials and confirming plant delivery schedules to align with the project programme.
8. Ensuring all delivery dockets are signed and submitted to Procurement in a timely manner.
9. Identification and reporting of site variations to the Contracts Manager; assistance with documenting variation works.
10. Attendance at regular site meetings and weekly whiteboard coordination meetings.
11. Ensuring all installations meet QDSM standards.
12. Management of commissioning and testing phases for all mechanical services.
13. Effective management of site decant and project close-out procedures.
Requirements for Success
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in site management within the HVAC or mechanical services sector. A trade qualification in plumbing or similar mechanical discipline is desirable. Additionally, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
