Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting aspects for assigned jurisdictions, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial records.
2. Maintain a robust control environment, including balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Develop and analyse management information to support business decisions within agreed timelines.
4. Deliver financial statements and regulatory reports within specified deadlines.
5. Develop analytical skills to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.
6. Oversee the audit process in conjunction with senior leaders.
7. Prepare tax returns and reconciliations as required.
Requirements:
1. A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
2. Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in accounting or a related field.
3. Solid technical accounting, tax, and reporting knowledge.
4. Experience in producing meaningful management information and acting as a commercially astute financial controller.
5. Advanced Excel skills and experience with systems like 3e, SAP Concur, Power BI.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills for developing strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
7. Self-motivation and ability to take ownership, combined with a team-oriented approach.
