Key Responsibilities
* Structure and resource the R&D team to deliver programmes on time.
* Promote a culture of technical innovation and knowledge leadership in the field.
* Maintain effective communication channels with management and engineering teams.
* Work closely with strategic marketing and commercial functions to define patient and user needs.
* Direct innovation and knowledge capabilities towards creating technological value for the business.
* Proactively manage project technical risks and implement mitigation measures.
* Promote a quality culture across the R&D team.
* Support clinical and commercial teams in executing business programmes while building relationships with key opinion leaders.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.
* At least 10 years of experience in the medical device industry at a management and leadership level.
* Understands team dynamics and has experience building high-performing teams.
* Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Experience in developing complex medical devices and delivering results in challenging settings.
