Our client in Dublin 12 is looking for general warehouse operators to move packages and material around their facilities.
This role is Monday - Friday. 8am- 4pm or 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities :
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of parts/products using manual handling techniques
* Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
* Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner
* Ensuring all products are free from damage and reporting any discrepancies
* Using our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reports
* Checking the picking accuracy
* High-response and accurate order picking
* Moving pallets using a forklift truck
* Work closely within warehouse team to ensure procedures are followed
* Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures
* Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
* Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
* You will be required to operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety
* The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency
* This is a demanding role that requires lifting and moving items and covering a large warehouse on foot
Requirements :
* Able to meet the physical demands of the role
* Forklift experience and certification would be preferable
* Good all-round communication skills
* Previous manual handling training or experience
* Candidates must be:
* Willing and able to frequently push, pull, bend, and reach
* Climb and descend stairs/steps & ladders safely
* Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired
