David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd is a family-owned business, providing a wide range of high-quality civil engineering, utility infrastructure and residential construction services and solutions throughout Ireland.Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Site Agent to work on Civil Engineering projects being delivered in the Southeast Region. This is a full-time role suitable to a candidate who wants to progress their career in the civil engineering industry with a recognised industry leader.Minimum Requirements:· 5+ years' proven experience as a Site Agent (or similar role) on civil engineering projects including groundworks, roads, ESB, and utilities.· Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.· Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.· Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.Main Responsibilities:· Oversee civils/utilities projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, programme, and quality standards.· Maintain thorough and accurate project records, including documentation, reports, and photographic evidence, to capture progress across the project lifecycle· Plan and schedule construction activities, allocating resources efficiently.· Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver on project requirements.· Monitor progress, identifying and resolving issues quickly to minimise delays.· Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control procedures.· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and best practices.· Report on project status to senior management and clients.Benefits:· Excellent opportunity to grow your career with an established industry leader.· Excellent salary & package.Location:The roles will be based in the South/South East region working closely with our management team in a professional and friendly work environment.Joining a family-owned company offers the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team, contribute to a long-term vision, and experience a work environment that values personal connections and a strong company culture.Apply with your CV directly to our management team at the following address: Job Types: Full-time, PermanentAbility to commute/relocate:Waterford, CO.
