This position plays a key part in leading, coordinating, and supporting the development and assessment of project T&I engineering across a growing offshore wind portfolio. The successful candidate will contribute T&I expertise to foundation design and consenting activities, develop project‑specific T&I strategies, and prepare technical scope of work documents. This role directly supports the organisation's strategic objectives around offshore wind delivery, infrastructure development, and large‑scale renewable energy deployment.About the RoleThis position plays a key part in leading, coordinating, and supporting the development and assessment of project T&I engineering across a growing offshore wind portfolio.ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Strategic LeadershipLead, coordinate, and support the development of the T&I engineering function.Develop Transport & Installation strategies for individual projects, including design, planning, and cost definition.Provide technical support for offshore installation campaign planning.Engineering & DocumentationPrepare technical scope of work documents for all T&I activities.Evaluate technical proposals for port facilities, offshore contractors, specialist equipment, and installation methodologies.Identify key T&I project risks and design issues, supporting mitigation and monitoring.Collaboration & DeliveryWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver and optimise the T&I strategic vision.Interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support decision‑making and project delivery.QualificationsEssentialMinimum of seven years' professional experience, including at least three years in a Transport & Installation related role.Formal qualification in Engineering or a related discipline, with demonstrable T&I engineering experience.Strong understanding of offshore windfarm construction and logistics activities.Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a proactive, solution‑focused manner.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to travel as required, with a valid driving licence and passport.DesirableLevel 9 Master's Degree in Engineering.Chartered status with a recognised professional institution.Project Management qualification.Experience delivering subsea cable installation projects.Location & Working ModelThis role is based in Dublin or Cork, with travel to project locations across Ireland and the UK as required. The organisation supports a flexible working model, combining office collaboration with remote working where appropriate. One weekly anchor day for in‑person teamwork is expected, with arrangements reviewed in line with project needs.Please note that a relocation package is available for candidates moving from the UK or internationally.
